The 2011 Infiniti G Sedan is available in two different models built on different engines. The G25 models use a 2.5-Liter V6 engine and are available as a base G25 model, G25 Journey and G25x AWD. The G25x model has all of the same features as the G25 Journey with the exception of Intelligent all-wheel drive and snow mode. The G37 models are built with a 3.7-Liter V6 engine and are available as a G37 Journey, G37x and G37 Sport 6MT. Like the G25x, the G37x models have all of the same standard features as the G37 Journey but use all-wheel drive and have snow mode. The G25 and G25 Journey models have an EPA estimated fuel economy of 20 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway. The G25x AWD model gets 19 miles per gallon city and 27 miles per gallon highway. The G37 Journey averages 19 miles per gallon in the city and 27 on the highway. The G37x AWD and G37 Sport 6MT models get an estimated 25 miles per gallon on the highway and get an average of 18 in the city.
The 2011 G25 model comes standard with dual power outside mirrors, dual chrome exhaust finishers, cruise control, keyless entry and a push button ignition. Automatic climate control, 8-way power driver and 4-way power passenger seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and leather upholstery are also standard on all 2011 G25 models. The media center includes a six-speaker sound system with CD player, XM® satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack.
The G25 Journey trim adds to the base G25 with automatic on/off headlights, heated outside mirrors and dual-zone automatic temperature control. Rear windows with one-touch up/down, heated front seats and 8-way power front-passenger’s seat are also standard features on the G25 Journey. The media center adds to the base G25 with a USB connection port for iPod® interface and other compatible devices. A Bluetooth® phone system, rearview monitor, and auto-dimming inside mirror with HomeLink® universal transceiver and compass add to the G25 Journey features. The G37 Journey standard features are the same as the G25 Journey models.
The premium G37 Sport 6MT comes standard with a sport tuned suspension, 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels and sport front fascia as well as power sliding tinted glass moonroof. A 12-way power driver’s seat including manual thigh extension and driver’s power torso and thigh side support adjustments and a 8-way power front-passenger’s sport seat with manual thigh extension are also found on all 2011 Sport 6MTs. Dual occupant memory system for driver’s seat, outside mirrors and steering wheel as well as driver’s seat, steering wheel and outside mirror synchronization are also available on the Sport 6MT. The media center includes a Bose® 10-speaker premium audio system with 10-inch subwoofers, 9.3 GB hard drive and 7-inch color display.
In their commitment to safety Infiniti has equipped the G Sedan with numerous safety features, including, dual-stage front air bags, driver and front-passenger side-impact air bags, roof mounted curtain side-impact air bags for front and rear occupants and Zone Body construction with reinforced passenger compartment and front and rear crumple zones. Brake assist, a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system and Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control System are also standard safety features on all 2011 G Sedans.
